The Plan

Roadmap.

A rolling, public plan. Every item is tagged Shipped, Building or Next, so it is always clear what is real and what is intent.

Last updated: 2026-10-21 · Maintainer: Crypto Dungeon LLC · Chain: dungeon-1

This is a rolling plan, not a release-date promise. Shipped means available in the public product; Playtest means access or feature scope is limited; Building means work exists but is not a public release; Next identifies the next acceptance work. A source commit, a local test and a public release are separate milestones.

Shipped: the publishing and player foundation

  • Launcher distribution. Public installers are available through the launcher page. The release page and update feeds determine the current version; this roadmap does not pin an installer. The Windows app and installer are code-signed; the universal Mac build is signed and notarized by Apple.
  • 23 games in one library. Kosmic Dungeon, Kosmic Monsters, Ascendancy, Oathforge, Kosmic, Sky Mercenaries, Kosmic Dragoon, Kosmic Quest · Original, Dungeon Casino, Dungeon Fantasy Sports, Dungeon Academy and twelve Arcade games, plus Tabletop.
  • Tabletop: Lastlight. A GM and players share a 3D board with elevation, fog, doors and miniatures; build characters with guided class play for all twelve SRD classes; track linked combat health, rests and resources; and keep a session journal. Effects and rules exceptions remain GM-reviewed.
  • Community video. Optional cameras in community rooms of up to six people, joined muted with the camera off; sharing requires approval.
  • Castle Siege seasons. Weekly seasons with on-chain finalization. Entry and build spending is split between a real BankMsg::Burn and the season pot. Season 1 finalized on 2026-10-19 and paid 1,888,000 DGN to 10 castles (transaction A31A966C…CB11, height 22,028,723).
  • Developer Studio. Developers can save a game listing, describe a browser release or signed Windows launcher, connect a supported collection, and submit an immutable revision. Publication requires Dungeon review. Private draft edits do not silently replace a published game.
  • Collection integration. The Hoard provides collection creation. Studio rechecks the collection authority at submission and approval. Games implement their own NFT utility; connecting a collection is not automatic gameplay.
  • Player tools. The launcher includes a library, wallet permissions and recovery controls, chat and Tabletop. A launcher account does not automatically make every game's save portable.
  • Chain operations. Dungeon runs a sovereign chain with CosmWasm and IBC. The public API reported application version 12.0.0 on 2026-10-16. Current node information and governance records supersede old version labels.

Building: the next product improvements

Player understanding and recovery

Improve the roadmap, whitepaper and game FAQs together. Put dated, readable copies in the launcher, make game-specific help reachable from the library, and keep wallet unlock, game sign-in, ownership, payments and saved progress distinct. A bundled document remains a dated snapshot; it must not masquerade as live data.

Developer publishing

Improve draft conflict handling, recovery warnings, listing review and collection setup guidance. Before a desktop update is called shipped, pass source checks, installed-app acceptance, signing and the platform's release gates. Grow the external developer program through reviewed submissions and real integration proof, not an unrestricted publish button.

Games

Keep improving Kosmic Dungeon's core loop and save integrity; Kosmic Monsters' earned campaign and a trading economy built on crafting and item sets; Ascendancy's strategy and feedback; Oathforge's Act I, endgame and Steam readiness; Castle Siege's weekly seasons; Tabletop's group play; and Kosmic's bounded Dungeon Master party experience. An invite, a party button or a packaged test does not establish a public MMO or complete campaign co-op.

Next: milestones that earn expansion

  1. First outside developer. A real studio completes draft, collection or no-collection setup, ownership integration where needed, review, publication and a player launch. Record exactly which parts are proven.
  2. Cross-device game acceptance. Verify a game's own save flow from an actual second device. Keep recovery copies and reject stale writes before expanding claims about cloud saves.
  3. Remote party acceptance. Validate the supported multiplayer slice with separate players and devices before promising matchmaking or broader co-op.
  4. Route reliability. Detect aged packets and uncertain transaction outcomes, reconcile receipts and maintain bounded relayer balances. An online process is not proof that a transfer completed.
  5. Game-revenue governance. Preserve the commitment to propose measured net-game-revenue distributions and a proportional reduction in inflation. Revenue thresholds, percentages and cadence require the stated governance process and auditable accounting; no yield or launch date is promised here.
  6. Cross-game asset utility. Ship one explicit, tested integration at a time. The same wallet or NFT standard does not make every asset usable in every game.

How priorities are chosen

Dungeon is a solo-founder operation. Priorities protect progress, correct amounts and clear player actions before adding breadth. Content, accounts, money and ownership must survive retries and outages. Each product uses its own guarded release process; a successful local check is not a production deployment.

Future chain upgrades are proposed and verified against the current mainnet state. This roadmap does not schedule a version or height from an outdated plan. Market statistics, fee quotes, live bridge availability and validator counts belong in their current interfaces and chain records rather than a static table.

Revision note

2026-10-21: launcher beta 81 and its 23-game catalog, Tabletop: Lastlight, community video, Castle Siege seasons with the verified Season 1 payout, and the Oathforge Steam Early Access target. The chain version was re-read on 2026-10-21 (unchanged).

2026-10-16: replaces the July roadmap; adds the launcher, reviewed developer publishing, current game access boundaries, player help and acceptance milestones. Removes obsolete v8/v9 planning and unsupported calendar promises. The chain version above is a dated API observation, not an assertion about every endpoint.
